Wheelchair-Driven Standard First Aid and Emergency Response
About Course
⚠️ COMPLIANCE WARNING: THEORY ONLY – SKILLS VERIFICATION REQUIRED
This course covers the theoretical and instructional foundation required by MN Rule 8840.5910 Subpart 4. Because physical proficiency in emergency procedures cannot be verified remotely, this online module does not by itself certify a driver in hands-on First Aid.
Requirement: To be fully compliant, the employer must verify the driver’s physical competency in demonstrating or articulating correct emergency procedures using the provided “First Aid Skills Verification Form” (PDF included in the course curriculum).
Note on Equipment: This module covers standard industry equipment and emergency protocols for full certification. If you are currently operating a minivan, please view equipment-specific segments as “General Industry Knowledge” required for future vehicle types.
